Webster's Pages "Best Friends": Mixing it Up~!

**For my October giveaway, please go HERE**

Good morning! Yet another Monday is upon us here and I'm glad to again be able to kick off the week with a Webster's Pages project :). As you know, their "Best Friends" mid-release collection has been revealed and we've been showing you lots of fun ways to use this fresh new line. And one of the things that I love- as well as most any Webster's fan- is how nicely different collections can work together. So I have gone about mixing up this playful new range with another fun (but older) collection, "Let's Celebrate", as well as a hint of "Girl Land" and some trim from "Everyday Poetry"...

"Birthday Party"

It's hard for me to believe that this is my very first birthday layout for my middle child, Gunner, who turned two in July. I think I'm still in denial of this milestone and letting my baby grow up- but either way, I'm happy to finally be getting something put together for him to remember this day by!

So where did I start on this layout? Knowing I would be doing a birthday page, I was certain I wanted to use this "Let's Celebrate" collection, so I went through "Best Friends" and found some base papers to use:

"Board Games"

"Fun & Laughter"

And of course I did a ton of fussy cutting. In fact, when I first set about this assignment, I'd had an entirely different layout set up and ready to go. But my oldest, Wyatt, decided it would be fun to cut up all my fussy cuts while I wasn't looking so I was forced to start all over with this project. I generally do my fussy cutting prior to starting a Webster's layout as it can take some time, so I definitely had my work cut out for me~!

These sweet little balloons are from the "Soulmates" paper from Best Friends. I decided to cut out two of them, curl up the sides of the top one so you could see the bottom layer and join them with some foam adhesive. The little bit of trim in the center is from the Best Friends Trim Pack :).

I think I've already mentioned how much I LOVE the Best Friends Perfect Accents:

I used the sweet little love birds piece and the yellow heart for this layout:

Lots and lots of fussy cut details and a cute little Polaroid frame from the Best Friends "Picture This" paper...
